In the depths of darkness, even lost souls find solace
This painting draws inspiration from a Greek myth where the 'Halcyon,' a bird linked to the kingfisher, was believed to nest upon the sea, calming the waters to cradle its eggs on a floating nest. This legend foretold a serene pause in the stormy winter, a tranquil interlude.
In a poetic adaptation of this myth, the painting reimagines this serenity as the secret romance between a siren and a fallen angel, entwining their fates in a moment of forbidden love.

FAQ
PRINT QUALITY?
We use 310 gsm archival paper, the paper boasts an ultra-smooth surface with a completely matte finish.
This quality enhances image detail by eliminating interference from grain, while the super smooth matte surface prevents reflections from any angle. This allows the paper to offer exceptional contrast, depth, and vibrant colors, ensuring exceptional color reproduction and Dmax.
WHAT IS GICLÉE PRINT?
Giclee (pronounced Gee’clay) is a French term meaning to spray or squirt, which is how an inkjet printer works. However, it is not the same as a standard desktop inkjet printer, and is much larger and more detailed. Giclee prints can be a little over a meter wide and are printed on high quality archival papers. Giclee is the best way to produce archival reproductions of your fineart and photography.
The intention of giclee printing is to produce a product at a higher quality and with a longer lifespan than a standard desktop inkjet printer.
HOW LONG DO ARCHIVAL PRINTS LAST?
Archival prints, when created using high-quality materials and processes such as Archival Pigment Ink and acid-free paper, can last for a remarkably long time. Under proper storage and display conditions (e.g., protection from direct sunlight and humidity), archival prints can last about 200 years in an album, 80 years when displayed behind glass, and 50 years when displayed without glass. Any print exposed to direct UV radiation (i.e., sunlight) will fade more quickly.
